Bits and Druthers

Bringing the Union Jack to Austin, Texas. This traditional (with a spin on local) chip shop and creamery makes everything from scratch (even the mayo for the tartar sauce). Flavors from the UK ring true at this fabulous little trailer and its chef, Mike, bring in inspiration from Marco Pierre White. They serve traditional fish and chips, beef wellington and even have some fried oysters if you’re feeling a bit fishier. I’m amazed by the amount of international flavors being brought to Austin. If you’re not in the mood for their fried goodies, try out their rotating selection of ice creams. Cheers!
