The Jalopy

Any preconceived notion of a “Jalopy” can be thrown out the window when visiting Nic Patrizi’s The Jalopy food trailer, food truck, FOOD SEMI. This food semi is neither old, decrepit nor unreliable, and although I may not know its mechanical abilities, there’s one thing that is certainly not broken. The kitchen. The Jalopy is dishing out an array of rotisserie chicken sandwiches including their chicken demi-glace and red onion marmalade The Jalopy Original, as well as other delicious options such as the Chicken and Waffles sandwich and even vegetarian options.  To top it all off, they don’t hand you your order. They actually deliver it down a chute from a window. Everything tastes a little better at The Jalopy. You won’t have trouble finding it, an enormous semi-truck in the middle of town is easy to spot. Especially when it serves as a canvas for countless local artists. The Jalopy, the art of food and the food of art.
